Einstein on Absolute Proof

Came across a quote which shows Einstein’s view of what we can be absolutely certain of:

As for as the propositions of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain; and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality.

In short, the only field in which absolute proof exists is in pure mathematics. Everything else contains a degree of conjecture, however small.
